- Players take turns rolling the dice to move around the game board
- Once a player reaches a location, they are allowed to ask a CLUE question about 1 suspect, 1 weapon, and the location that they entered
- Other players must respond by showing the cards in question to the active player if they have them in their deck
- Once the active player gets their response, they record which cards they saw on their clue sheet
- The game ends when a player correctly guesses all 3 cards that are in the envelope
